Welcome – Val Pat Cyn – Home Dog Boarding – My name is Val McMillan. Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can recall, from my earliest memories of Lassie our first golden retriever who my mother brought to start a her own breeding line back in the 50’s, and spending my childhood years walking in the countryside with our ever expanding golden family.
Enjoying many happy times playing with the puppies that came along. And always feeling sad when they had to go to their new homes, I of course wanted to keep them all, not very practical thinking, but who does when they are young.
My association with dogs has continued throughout my life, and I have had the privilege to have shared this time with many unforgettable canine friends. I now live with my 2 lovely companions, Golden Retrievers Tomo and her daughter Savvy. They are very sociable, love doggy company and always make visitors welcome.
I am always eager to learn more about dogs so have embarked on and passed a Diploma Course in Canine Studies, I have also been awarded a Certificate in Canine Massage from Equissage, and can now offer this service.
On my retirement from the NHS, the opportunity was there for me to devote more time to the love of my life – dogs.
I had no hesitation in launching my home boarding facility, and Valpatcyn Canine Services (Angus, Scotland) was born.
