TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HOME BOARDING AND DOG WALKING
1. Valpatcyn Canine Services are not able to accommodate dogs registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 including dog hybrids, and reserve the right to refuse home boarding to dogs that show signs of aggression and dominance to people and other dogs, that are destructive, and not house trained.
2. Bookings will only be confirmed after a visit has been carried out, the terms and Conditions and Customer Detail forms have been completed and signed, and a 25% (non-refundable) deposit has been received.
3. Owners warrant that any dog(s) left for boarding are Fit, Sound and Healthy, or that Valpatcyn Canine Services are made aware of any existing condition(s). Owners undertake to declare any history of veterinary problems that could reoccur while boarding, and to draw attention to any traits or vices their dog(s) may have. Furthermore, owners authorise Valpatcyn Canine Services to contact the appropriate veterinary practice regarding existing medical conditions or to confirm vaccination details
4. In the event of accident, illness, infectious or contagious disease, consent is given by the undersigned that provision of veterinary treatment will be provided by our designated vet, unless specified otherwise.
5. Vet bills are the responsibility of the owner but for conditions arising during home boarding, may be recoverable through Valpatcyn Canine Services insurance to a maximum of £350 per dog. Pre-existing conditions are excluded.
6. Whilst every possible care is taken of each animal, Valpatcyn Canine Services cannot be held responsible for loss either from illness or other causes whilst your dog is in our care, or during the transport to and from us. Nor for any of the owner’s property which is brought with your dog(s). We have public liability insurance and insurance that covers your dog(s) for accidents whilst in our care
7. Rates: Day boarding: £15.00 per day, overnight boarding: £18.00 per day, if two or more dogs are boarded a 15% discount will apply. All fees to be paid on arrival and any expenses which may arise are payable before the dog(s) leave our care.
8. I agree that my dog(s) can have contact with other dogs that may be in your care as well as your family dogs.
9. All dog(s) should be fully vaccinated against parvovirus, distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, and kennel cough, production of an up-to-date vaccination record is required prior to dog(s) being accepted for boarding. Worming, flea and tick treatment should also have been carried out.
10. You will provide food (if applicable) and it is preferable that you bring your dog(s) own leads, bedding and food bowls, although we do have provision of these items if required. Dog(s) must wear a collar and identity tag whilst being boarded. We will supply an identity tag with our details on for the duration of your dog(s) stay.
12. Dog(s) will be lead walked unless written consent is given that your dog may be walked off lead whilst being boarded with us.
I agree to the above conditions. I also agree that if my dog(s) is not collected within 7 days of the stated departure date, and no communication has been received from me or my agent, then I authorise you to classify the animal as abandoned and attempt to re-home or send to a charitable animal organisation.
PETS ARE ACCEPTED FOR HOME CARE AND WALKING AT THE OWNERS RISK.
Please note: Day of arrival and departure will be charged for. We may refuse to care for any animal which is not suitable for home care.
